Nursery and Pre-K programs are 5-day full day programs that follow the school hours of each campus. Doors open each day at 7am for early drop-off and stay open until 5:30pm each day.
The school day includes time focused on pre-reading and writing skills, gross and fine-motor development, socialization and play, physical activity, snack, lunch, and rest time. Students who stay for after school care will enjoy a variety of sports and clubs.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School is a proud member of the Boston College Two-Way Immersion Network for Catholic Schools - one of only two Catholic schools in New York State to partner with the prestigious Boston College network.
As of September of 2022, students in Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classrooms participate in a 50/50 dual-language immersion program in which 50% of instruction is provided in English and 50% of instruction is provided in Spanish.
For the 2023-24 school year, the dual-language program will expand into 1st grade and increase by one grade level per year moving forward - providing our students with a pathway to becoming fully bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural by graduation in the 8th grade.
